Cropped Jeans
The ladies of Racing Fashionistas have brought a great new trend to our attention: Cropped jeans.
Look, I try not to let my denim styles posts be all about whether or not I’d wear them, but I gotta admit, I love this look! You could wear these with bright flip-flops and a vintage tee, or doll it up with sexy sandals, an anklet and a peasant blouse. As long as you’ve got the all-important pedicure, you can’t really go wrong with this one. What do you think?
The Fashionistas tell us (warn us?) that these ones are $295 at Bloomingdales, but you could get the same look by getting a little bit crafty with a regular pair or by ordering a pair of Thimbler custom jeans, and setting the leg length to your desired cropped plus desired cuff size.
More Bloggers!
Our free jeans for bloggers contest has been turning out to be great for me! I’m so lucky that my work has led me to all of these awesome blogs by strong, successful, funny, beautiful women. I’ve added more amazing blogs to our blogroll here and to my own feed reader.
We’re pleased to invite another bunch of talented, outspoken ladies. This new group includes Deena of Fat Girls Like Nice Clothes Too and Colleen of Pretty Pear! Novelist Ekaterina Sedia, Patricia Lupien of the indie webcomic Swiftriver, and Jennifer Barreto-Leyva, who is Miss Plump Venezuela by day and a lawyer by night (or is the other way around?), will all be sharing their thoughts as well. I’m lucky to be working with so many awesome women!
Now, off to read more blogs, I mean, back to working hard!
New Bloggers
Our newest jeans bloggers are Elle from The Demoiselles and Stephanie from Kitschy. Thanks, ladies! We can’t wait to see what you have to say!
We’ll be continuing to announce more bloggers over the next few days. If you haven’t seen your name yet, hurry up and sign up for free jeans!
Bloggers On Finding Good Jeans
Seems like everyone is having trouble finding jeans that fit. I saw this the other day on Motherhood Uncensored:
Now, let me just say that I’m a complete a total jean snob, mainly because I’m tall and now with no ass and a stomach pooch and so not just any pair of jeans will do.
I wouldn’t describe my own physique like this at all, but I do agree that not just any pair of jeans will do! Between the difference between my figure and the shape of off-the-rack jeans, and minding the gap, mall jeans just won’t do.
Fortunately I can get Thimbler custom jeans and get jeans that really fit!
